u'll wont regreat doing a rear cat delete

 

I wonder if some body has already taken mine off because my truck only.has two cats on it now.there round in shape and not.ovle like the ones that have been posted already.there is also just two 02 sensers and there both up stream from my cats no down stream sensers.my truck is a 07 if that makes a difference.

 

07/08 only have 2 cats.

 

There are 2 O2 sensors near the exhaust manifold and 2 O2 sensors on top of the cats. You'll need to keep the downstream O2 sensors for it to run properly.

 

X2 if a shop does cut the cats off it's a fine to you and the shop of 40,000$ each so I was told.

 

Your 07 came with two cats. The O2 sensors that monitor catalytic function are mounted on the cat. As other's have said, removing these is illegal and will cause a CEL. What you can do is swap the two stock cats for two high flow cats and there will be an increase in sound and stay legal.
