What are some remote start brands that i can buy for my 04 f150. I dont want to pay an arm and a leg. But i really want to get it lol. Starting to get to cold to go start truck up in the mornings lol

 

Mine is made by Avital. I got it at best buy. it totaled around $300 installed. I think the starter was a lot cheaper but our trucks need a module or bypass thingy which isn't included, so it bumps the cost up some... Plus whatever it costs to install it... Huge fan of it though! I use it every morning if its cold and frosty out... Just make sure to set the climate controls the night before to what u prefer. I always use floor/defrost setting ... Another good thing about it is the key fob is not big so it doesn't bulk up your keys. Oh I almost forgot, if your battery in the truck dies you'll need to have best buy reprogram it. They do it for free tho, minor inconvenience.

 

I have the Viper 5901. Comes with the remote start. Got it off ebay for 185. Installed for 200. I added extras to it, so it was a little more. I on the other hand use mine for the hot days down here in Florida. LOL! Very nice to have the air running when you get in.
