Yea most shops here are around 2000 bucks. Still debating on if im going install myself or have someone do it. Im a Mechanic but I work a 14-14 shift offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. I sure dont feel like working on much on my days off.

2 week 500 mile update. Guys wanted to give you a little update on my Power source engine. So far things are great. Josh with Power source is great to deal with. One word of advice i can give you is buy new exhaust manifolds and oil dipstick tubes. The install went without a issue due to research and proper planning. I brought my mechanic everything needed for the swap including oil ,coolant and, Freon. Every pulley and hose i put new on as well. I did purchase all Motorcraft parts as well. Ill be doing a break-in oil change in next couple days then again after 1,000 miles then Ill swap over to the motor craft 5w-30 synthic blend oil.

Sounds like everything went good for you. That’s great news!

I remember hearing to have the mechanic remove the dipsticks before sending the old one back.

How was the shipping part of it.

Im so jealous! Congrats brother

Shipping was easy as pie. Let them know when old engine was ready they emailed BOL ( bill of laden) straight to my mech. They came next day and picked it up.
