I need aux brake lights due to my dim ones (tinted tails), but some of the recons I've seen have LEDs that don't line up for lack of a better word. I'm looking to find some slim brake lights to mount somewhere on the rear.

yeah thats part of the reason i want one with the back up lights because the tail lights are already smoked then i also have 5% on my back windows so backing out at night is a hell of a task

Thumbs up Recon tailgate lights

JUST BOUGHT RECON WHITELIGHTNING FOR MY 2010 4X2 LARIAT FROM AMAZON, GREAT PRICE, FREE, QUICK DELIVERY. HARD WIRED INTO THE BACK OF THE 7 PIN HARNESS. BACK UP LIGHT LEAD AVAILABLE THERE ALSO. YOU'LL NEED SOME EXTRA 3M DBL SIDED TAPE TO USE AS MOUNTING SHIMS ON PASSENGER SIDE FOR CLEAN INSTALL. WIRING DIAGRAM ON COVER OF 7 PIN PLUG MAKING HOOK UP A PIECE OF CAKE. EASY 6 PACK MILLERLITE JOB. LOOKS AND WORKS GREAT!

So with the replacement LED reverse light bulbs, do you need anything other than the bulb? Like are they strictly plug and play?

Do the Led reverse bulbs put out a substantial increase in light?

Yes, I just installed some not too long ago along with the 3rd brake light and the white LEDs are bright as hell
