I was looking into getting the Recon emblems that light up but it says they're for 09 and up. I was wondering if anyone has installed them on our body style of trucks?

 

They'll work just fine. Do a search for 09+ emblems on our year trucks and you'll find tons of threads. The Recons are no different, they're just expensive.

 

Have you seen them in person?

 

if the question is will the 09+ f150 emblems work on 04-08 body style the answer is yes. I have the 2013 lariat ones on mine, there is also a center hole between the alignment holes for you to run the wire for the lights too. I looked into the same thing on mine but wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend that much on emblems just to find out that just regular ones are 50 dollars each anyways

 

I had them on my truck when they first came out and I took em off a year later. Rain got in behind them somehow and made em look like garbage. Not worth the money in my opinion
