Default Recall on Cats

I've done a little searching, but couldn't find where I saw it at. I remember hearing a while back that some years have an extended warranty on cats because they clog up and cause the truck to misfire. I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find the link, or knew the mileage that they were covered to (I wanna say it 100k, but I can't remember). Thanks guys

I don't know what the miles or years are but mine fell into that category. I bought it from a GM dealer used, they were clogged, and Ford replaced them for the GM garage. Mine is an '06 and at the time it had 66K miles

I've heard that it's 8 years/80k, but I'm really hoping that's not the case, seeing as how I just rolled 82k ... But I've also heard that it's 100k.

Catalytic converters are covered 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first. The misfires cause the converters to fail, the cats cant cause a miss.

the injector warranty extension is for 05 and early 06 5.4 3v only. 10 years or 100,000 miles.

Awesome because mine in an 05 and I've got a slight misfire. It's probably plugs, but I know a faulty injector can cause this, and then mess up the cats. I'll go get it checked then

Catalytic converters are warrantied for 8 years/80,000 miles per federal requirements. I don't believe there is a recall on them just the warranty.
