i got the notice in the mail a few months ago. i havent gone yet. but i was wondering if anyone has heard of the airbags deploying while driving? is this a major probability? im really only curious.

 

There should be some old threads about this, but to answer your question no all they have to do is insulate a small wire below your dash to keep it from rubbing on another wire, it takes about 5 minutes. As far as deploying while your driving most people have reported it happening soon after the truck was cranked and many alert lights came on in most situations.

 

Go to fords website and input your VIN number. That will tell you if your truck was part of the clock spring recall or any other recalls.
