Default Rear window slider

I have an 08 FX2 and I want to get a rear window slider. Does Ford or an aftermarket company offer a replacement slider? I like how the slider breaks up the large rear window.

If I may be so bold, to ask a question on your thread, instead of creating a new one.

I just purchased an '04, and was warming up my truck, when I closed the door and it locked behind me.

I jumped in the bed, and with a decent amount of pressure, was able to open the sliding window, while it was in the locked position. Are there any security measures against this?

Thanks

I would imagine that this is not an addition that would be worth the hassle or money involved. However, if you are so set on getting it done- I found this link http://www.aztrucks.com/mfg/C_R_Laurence.html .
Keep us posted if you decide to undertake this.

That sounds weird to me. My '05 had a 1200lb pallet of sandbags accidentally dropped in the bed when loading and nothing other than my sphincter puckering happened.

any descent auto glass shop should be able to get you what you want.

I have one on my XLT super crew and love it.

I also have one on my Nissan fronter with a leer cap. During the summer I will leave the sliding rear window open to vent the heat from the cab and no one can get in because of the cap

Default slider swap?

Not sure its even feasible but I would rather have the solid rear glass instead of my slider. I never use it anyway. If they would fit in the other truck and a swap could be done, I'm willing.

I installed a factory ford rear slider kit in my 06. It was a pretty simple install and is a factory unit so it looks and works flawless. I think i paid under 300, but i am a dealer ech so yer cost may be a little higher but prob not too much
