I have a bodyshop putting in a replacement rear window in my 05 (among other things), I picked the window up from the salvage yard what was supposed to be a manual rear slider, the bodyshop is telling me that is was from an electric slider equipped truck because there is no catch to lock the window shut, and there are holes where the wires came thru.
Not that I want to start doubting the bodyshop, but I am sure I remember snapping it shut to carry it, maybe I am wrong though.
If I am, I am wondering if when it comes down to it they are the same window, just with different hardware, and if that is the case, if an electric window can be converted to a manual one to be able to lock shut without a whole lot of $ and messing around?
