Default Rear End Noise When Turning

Have a 2004 F150 Heritage with 157000 on it. Every time I turn left or right
I hear a noise coming from my rear end. I have a 3.08 ratio. Any ideas or clues?

That eliminates 1 but leaves 2 &3 If you have a axle with a rear cover you might want to pull it and check the gears if they are ok fill it with 75/140 synthetic lube and if the lube does not state that it has limeted slip aditive you will have to add that it is a friction modifier to prevent the posi clutches from chattering. 4oz. available at any dealer parts counterBubbabud
