I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but just recently I have been hearing my rear end sound like it's clapping when ever I drive over a bumpy road. My guess is could it be the leaf springs and is it normal?


Any help would be appreciated.

Just a suggestion, But check the Parking brake shoes. The rear of my truck made all kinds of noises at different times..Rattle over bumps...Clicking..ect...good luck brother..

 

The spare could be loose...
