Rear diff fluid change - noise

Shocks are new Bilstein HD's all round, less than 20k on them at this point. The U-joints might be the culprit I guess, but wouldn't they bang on acceleration? This really only happens on turning, and I only notice it at low speed.
I used the Ford friction modifier when I changed diff fluid, and it didn't clunk for 12k miles after that, so I can say that I am beginning to think it is not the pumpkin.
I have not ever replaced the ball joints or tie rod ends, but at the noise sounded like it was coming from the rear didn't think these were the problem.
