I've searched this topic but am not finding the information I'm looking for. I have 2004 Fx4 with factoy installed tow bar. I damaged my rear bumper and step pad and would like to replace them. I know the brackets for the '04-'05 are different than the '06-'08. I've looked underneath and see the two bolts attaching the brackets to the frame but (due to the damage) cannot see where/how the bumper itself is attached to the brackets. I also cannot tell if the tow bar is welded to the brackets or bumper. Can I install an '06- '08 bumper onto '04 using the '04 brackets or are the brackets and bumper one-piece?
