Rear bumper compatibility

Looking for a painted rear bumper to replace my chrome one. Will a bumper from a 2006-2008 fit my 2004 f150?

Yes as long as your 2004 isn't the heritage

I believe the brackets are different. It will not be a direct swap without the 06-08 brackets

I was thinking the same thing. Because I know the front bumper brackets are different.
