Default Rear blocks

Can I use any rear blocks for the rear? Or does it need to be the blocks that have the 2 studs on them? I need 3" blocks. Trucks an 06 fx4.

I have an '04 that I did put 3" blocks in the rear. It needs to be the 2 pin style. I had a different set that was not, and there was no way they were going to work with out alot of modification. I got mine off of e-bay and they were pretty inexpensive. Thing is, you will have to get longer u-bolts.

It was on Ebay. I honestly cannot remember the vendor, I typed in F150 (the year), and 3" blocks. They have worked out well. Sorry I do not remember the vendor though.

yes you need the 2 studs. They are for placement between the axle and the leaf springs because the bottom ones go into the axle and the top with need holes for the studs on the bottom of the leaf springs. As said you will need longer u bolts and i recommend the blocks have bump stoppers on them so you dont blow out a shock or anything. And also you might need longer shocks to compensate for the axle being lower and the stock ones may not allow enough travel. I did an install on some 2" OEM blocks that may help you but i dont think they approved it yet in the How to section.
