Rear axle seal.
I need to do a rear axle seal my axle code is h9 I don't know which axle that is? Also if anyone has done one what is entailed do I have to press on and off bearings?

Its the same process whether the diff is limited slip or not. As for the seals being different I'm not sure.
If you are just replacing seals then there is are no bearings to be pressed. This isnt necessarily a routine maintenance job anyone can do, it takes knowing what you are doing. The diff cover has to be removed, the bolt holding the spider gear pin, then the pin itself. Dont rotate the gears or the spiders will pop out.
Remove you rotors. Push in on your axles until you expose the C-clip. Replace c-clip with pliers or a magnet, the axle can not be removed and the seal replaced.

Yup. Take the axle all the way out and the seal is on the end of the tube outside of the bearing. You can use the end of the axle to pop the seal out and then a 2x4 and a hammer to knock the seal back in.
