re-tourque question

How many of you guys with levels Re- torque after every 1000 miles. I just got my kit(Thanks wifey) It's a HBS 2" and thats what the instuctions say.

I had a 2.5" rough country kit that was in for a year that I never re torqued. Put my 3" HBS in yesterday and my bolts holding the 2.5" kit were still tight as ever. So to be honest I don't think it's necessary

yeah, i guess they have to say that. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to check it ever now and then, but not every 1000 miles.

Well, my son-in-law is going to help me install it on Monday. I was hoping for a bigger bonus, so the new tires are going to have to wait until taxes.

What size you thinking of running?

And as far as the installation goes it isn't hard at all. All I did was remove the sway bar, tie rod, bolt holding the upper control arm. Then put a jack under the lower control arm and then removed the strut assembly. Put the level on top and put it all back together. It's simple enough
