Default rattling when starting engine

hey guys, i have a 2004 f150 with 5.4L and it rattles when i starts it. its sounds like its coming from the fan but nothing is loose. I read in another thread that it could be the cam phasers. if it is, is there anything to worry about breaking or is it just annoying? thanks

i just used castrol 5w20 hasnt did it yet been bout a week. i was told one time it is caused by oil leaking back through the system through the oil filter so u have to buy motorcraft filters that have basiclly a check valve. i think that was a sales pitch but who knows.
