I have a rattle inside my truck (sounds like its coming from passenger side). It doesn't happen until I hit 45mph +. It sounds like a geiger counter --not very load but its driving me friggin crazy.

Anyone have this ?

 

Mine rattles and its the tray on top of the radio on the dash

 

Stating the obvious, but I've had two rattles that drove me crazy for months. In both cases, it was not mechanical, but just loose stuff. Always worth double and triple checking that there's nothing hard in the glove box, console, or front and rear door trays.

My passengers complained about a nasty rattle in the dash that sounded like the instrument cluster. Turned out to be loose brake controller by the parking brake. Another one, that caused me to remove the rear seat, turned out to be a can of insect repellent hidden under a map in the door tray.

 

My exhaust rattles, my rear window rattles, my head liner rattles, my tire jack under the rear seat rattles, my dash rattles, my suicide doors rattle, my door panels rattle, my gotts mod into the fender rattles, my bed rattles, would you like me to go on? lol

 

Sounds like you got some duct taping to do ha.

 

haha yeah, but it still runs like a champ, so if rattles are my biggest worry, I just turn the radio up. I've come to accept that with age comes rattles...
