Default Random rough idle....

Just took a 1 hour trip on the highway with the truck...started slowing down pulling up to the toll booth, and when I came to a complete stop it was running/idling rough...cleared up as soon as I started accelerating again...Shut the truck off for a few hours, started it back up and drove home...did the same thing as soon as I pulled in the driveway...shut it off, restarted it, and it idles fine again...any ideas..? 2007 FX2 with approx. 132k......it's going in tomorrow for an oil change and new plugs/boots...should I have them check some other things while they have it.?

Thanks!...I was trying to do some research to find out, but couldn't exactly narrow anything down......It's weird that it was so intermittent...It idles/ran fine in between both incidents, and for it to be so non-consistent just had me confused..lol

Could do a TPS or Battery Relearn Procedure and see if that helps.

Just an update.....new plugs/boots fixed the issue...all plugs were pretty bad, and 2 were loose.....The previous owner replaced the cam phasers/timing chain when he had it, so no worries there...***knockonwood***....it does need a coolant flush though, as it's pretty nasty.....was also told that the rack/pinion was leaking, so there will be another issue to fix...LOL...Thank You everybody for your help!--------------------------------------Ed
