Default Ram Air Filter

i recently installed my cervini hood which has two large scoops.

the manufacturer is no longer making the ram air ducting that directs air to the stock filter.

what are my options for removing my spectre CAI and replacing it with some that sits centered on top of the motor.

JLT i have heard of, but require a tune. what is involved in this process?

are there any other options for an air filter in this location.

btw, i read that the 04 heritage 5.4 f150's had something that might work. here is a picture.

what is available for me to put these scoops to work?

ok, i might have found an answer.

the air filtration system used on some 5.4L 3V Tritons. Ebay says the parts are compatible with my 06 F150.

i can use the filter cover without the cold air intake duct. that would leave the intake open right in front of the scoops.

my only concern is the MAF sensor. it will move from out in front on the cai duct to just above the throttle body.

does anyone know if this will work?

here are a couple of pics

I believe just in front of the TB is stock location for the MAF sensor ... your CAI re-located it from the stock location.. not positive on your model year.

Where exactly are the cut outs for your scoops? I can't tell with your shiny under hood paint job..

You can probably make your own intake box that seals against the port openings out of fiberglass or with the use of a DIY vacuum table..
Been thinking of going for a new hood myself, I was leaning toward the super snake amerihood, but your cervini hood is really starting to grow on me.
