Can you replace a single Disc with a 6 Dissc without trouble ?

 

I'm not sure.. I put a single disc in place of the no disc in my 99 with no problems.

 

If you are talking about going from factory to factory then you wont have any problems at all. I had the single and switched it out for the factory ford pioneer navigation with 6 disc. the one i got came out of an 08' Edge but that doesnt matter. Zero problems with it working in my 06' FX4.
