Default radio stopped

So I plugged in a car charger for my phone and the radio quit working. It's just all static and the display doesn't work either. All I can do is control the volume. Any ideas? Maybe it blew a fuse?

I plugged in my radar detector like I have done everyday for over a year and now cruise control stopped, voice command on steering wheel lags, none of the buttons on the dash respond and the GPS map displays the wrong position and lags. I am sure more isn't working but what could be wrong? I plugged in my iPhone to the USB as well. It worked great yesterday. Any suggestions? 2010 F150 Platinum with 45k miles. I would bet you and I have the same issue. Hopefully someone replies to your thread that helps us both.

did it do it after you unplugged it? sounds like the charger is putting out rf interference.

It ended up that the phone charger shorted and blew a fuse

I shut everything down for 10 minutes and when I restarted the truck, all was fine. Must have just needed a reset. I plan to do an update with my Sync to see if that will correct future issues. Thanks.
