Default Radio question

hi guys I have a 2007 super crew with the 6 disc changer and factory sub the c/d changer is taking a crap and it wont load or play it just says c/d error. I found a pioneer at crutchfield and I have the sirus radio subscription is the sirus part built into the radio or is it seprate connections I don't want to loose my sirrus the radio I found is sirus ready thanks alot

You would have to get the additional module for the pioneer Sirius. Note that's why it says Sirius ready. I bought the xm module because I like how it interfaces better in the pioneer dual din deck however I find the xm signal not as good. Up here in canada at least.

You would end up with a new Sirius ESN so you would have to transfer your subscription. If it's the lifetime package you're on I don't think Sirius will transfer it. You cannot take the module from the stock radio and use it on the pioneer unfortunately. Or that I know of. It's built in from what I understand.

Did you try resetting your stock CD player? Pull fuse, or pull battery, or the other option I believe there is a key sequence upon turning the key to accessory.
