Default Radio ignition wire problem.

I put a new stereo into my 2005 f150 Lariat and I accidentally grounded out the red ignition wire. I have checked both of the radio fuses and both are fine. When I plug the stock radio back in it lights up but does not start up. Any help would be greatly appreciated been working on it for awhile now.

Check fuses 1, 7, and 31.

try to check with a dc meter if you are getting power in pins 1 and 3.

check in this pdf : http://www.discountcarstereo.com/pdf/frd04-aux.pdf

there is the description of each cable in the ford can-bus. page 3.

illumination are pins 3(+) and 4(-), but power for the radio are pins 1 (battery) and 13 (ground).

maybe you are getting power (+) in 3, but not in 1.
