I have only ran the 1/4 mile a couple of times in my stang. best time was 13.89 with a rt time of .68. ran in NC out past fayetteville airport. Never tried anything in my truck.......prolly wont dont so well

 

you only ran a 13.89 in a Cobra?? I ran a 13.4 quarter in my Turbo'd GP. I thought Cobra's were faster than that.

 

I had only 500 miles on the car and took it to the track, my friend had just bought a 01 lightning and we wanted to race each other. He had more exp with racing it was the first time for me. I had to leave after that 13.89 run. I think if my a/c was off I may have ran better?

 

i took my truck to the 1/8 mile track near my house, when i remember, ill get the time slips out of my car, but all i remember is i lost to a dodge ram hemi, sitting on 24" chrome rims, a bed cover, and an exhaust...and i had removed EVERYTHING out of my car...im talking about bed cover, spare wheel, tailgate, and even my back seats...it was crazy...and he still beat me...he never did wna open up that bed cover, i have a feeling he had some juice in tehre or something...

 

I've done 16.5 in 1/4.. been a while.. that was when I ran on straight 87 octane.. no performance done.. its slow for a 4.6L.. have yet to try it with the way I have it.. spacer.. K&N filter.. 2/4 drop.. hopefully it gets quicker..
