Question quick ques about adding a elecrric fan

I added an electric pusher fan to the front of my condenser so the AC will blow colder at lower speeds. I added one in conjunction with the stock mechanical fan. . Is this a good or bad thing to add will I gain anything out of it. Was thinking of removing it.

Did it make the a/c blow colder? Has it caused your engine temp to rise higher than it did before?

Did you install the e-fan using a relay? How is the fan triggered on? Are you using a temp sensor? At the very least, I hope you used a fuse and heavy guage wire, as e-fans can draw a heavy amp at startup, depending on the size of the fan motor. Most e-fans strongly recommend the use of a controller for this reason.

Most good kits use a controller. The controller has a low/high speed operation. The fan kicks on when the temp hits a certain range, and the high speed kicks on whenever the A/C is operated.

In your situation, you are using the fan to "push" air, rather than to "pull" air as the stock fan does, at least this is how I read your post.

It can't hurt in your current setup. Have you noticed any difference with the function of your A/C at idle?

I wired a relay to a manual switch. Yes I have a 30 amp fuse on it I'm concerned with the alt I know its working a little harder and there is a voltage drop to 12.5 when fan is running . I notice colder air when driving at idle don't see much or little when its 95 out since the compressor is turning slower
At night its ice AZZ cold driving and idlee

Update... I'm gonna remove the fan since there's little to no difference in cooling more except a little more stress on alt. And battery
