Hey guys, just bought a brand new H bar grill with chrome surround im in the living rm putting the mesh in the middle and then i came to the surround, do i put the surround on now b4 i put the grill on the truck or do i install the grill with the 5 bolts that go thru the front of the hood with the hood in the middle of the surround and the grill?? or is the hood on the back of the grill?? do i have to wait to install the surround or can i put it on now b4 bolting the grill on the truck, i took mine off a few days ago and forgot which is which,, pls let me know thanks!!

 

When I took my grill off of my truck, it all came apart as one piece. I'd assume that you would be just fine slapping it all together and then just bolting it on....

 

I agree; assemble it "whole" in your living room, then install on the truck. I did this same thing with a honeycomb grille.
