So you gave up on the gryphon?? I'm thinking I may do the same.. You get a dash pod for the live wire??

 

No it's a window mount kinda like a GPS mount. I like it better because I have it mounted at the base of the windshield in front of me making it easy to look at and all wires hidden.

 

If anybody is interested, I am currently running a group buy for SCT tuners for the forum. :-)

 

How much would they be and what kind sir i still want to try one sct has always made me wonder ha

 

I think i'm gonna give this Edge CS a try since I have it and the pod.... If it doesn't work out then i'll have to buy the livewire...

 

There is nothing wrong with the edge until you need a custom tune,

 

That's the problem... I want custom tunes within a week or two after I setup and install my CS.... Not wait 3-6 months for it... I bought it because I got a good deal on it brand new... Would have had the wife set it up and send me the hex and serial but that would never happen...

 

What do you have done to your truck that you need a custom tune?

You wont right away. I have had a CIA and a magnaflow exhaust on for 5 years running the canned tow tune without any problems. I am getting a custom tune now from php because Im adding a lift and 35's and the Troyer fans and UD pully's so I figured it was time. But I think you will be really surprised by the difference just the stage 2 canned tunes makes. When I had to return it to stock to take to the dealer one time it felt like a dog. I couldnt wait to put it back into the tow tune.
