Default Question about painting wheel wells

I wanted to paint my wheel wells and just had a couple questions maybe you guys can help me out. I was thinking about getting a half gallon of rubberized coating from autozone and painting them with a paint brush because i want to paint all visible parts in the wheel wells. Has anyone ever done this and what parts in the wheel wells are not safe to paint? I wanted to just used spray but I figured i might paint something that I shouldnt. THanks for the help guys

I spray mine with the heavier duty undercoat. The cheap stuff turns brown. I spray everything you can see and it looks great!!! I don't think there is anything in there you would hurt with a little spray.

Do you have any pics to show maybe before or after?
ok thats what I was worried about was spraying something and messing it up. What did you use to paint it?

I used the Duplicolor Bedliner stuff in the spray can...I painted my rear wheel wells to get rid of the silver that was showing from worn out paint. I just wanted to get the black color and add a little protection but it is nothing serious. Only thing i made sure to not paint is the shocks or the bolt for the shocks. Otherwise all else is game.

I also did this and it's been holding great for about a year now.

I used paintable undercoat and just masked off the springs, frame and outside of the body before spraying it.

I just went to Napa auto and got the 3M spray on undercoating. Just tape off what you don't want coated and start spraying. Turned out great on my truck.

Used 3M Rubberized Undercoating too-- just put some painting plastic over the sides of the bed, wheels, and anything else that wasn't supposed to be painted. It's held up for the last month or two and the roads are pretty crappy where I am.
