I searched threads high and low to fix my fob problem but I still can't get it to work. I have an 05 f150 king ranch with a retractable bed cover. I'm wondering if maybe they did something during install because the remote for it works on cover but not locks. Same with the factory ford fob. I can get locks to cycle but when I press button to program remote nothing happens

 

Sounds like it needs to be reprogrammed..

 

How do I do that?

Are you talking about the ignition 8 times ect? I did that the locks cycle to confirm program mode but when I press a button on either fob to complete the program the truck doesn't respond to fob. I changed factory fob battery and the bed cover remote has a light when the button is pressed so I kno that one is good
