question about ground clearance
im not even wasting my time wacthing your vid id buy a ford ,chevy or dodge before a toyota any day. so get a toyota so you can drive over telephone poles i know i run over tons oh them in my truck!
actually the tundra didn't do so hot, but your ranting is duly noted anyway.
it always amuses me how touchy people are about their brand of truck. i drove a nissan for 7 years and it was a good truck, always there for me. my brother put 300k miles on his Ford in under two years. that's says a lot about ford. my best friend drives a chevy and swears by them, and i'm happy for him. my friend at work is a dodge man. who cares? as long as you're happy with your truck and does what you want, go for it! what I like about Ford is the long, reliable history of the F-150. I like the fact that I can read about what issues people are facing with their 1995 F-150 because it gives me an idea of what I might be facing in 15 years.

Also, watch how they take the GMC over the poles at 2:03, they come almost to a stop. With the F150 they just rally over top without hardly slowing down and bounce against the step rails. Either way, get a level kit and 33s, it just looks better
i'm shopping for an f-150 as we speak. trying to sort through the 359 listings that autotrader brought up in my 500 mile radius, looking for an 07-08 Screw 4x4 with the 6.5 ft bed, tow package, and a few other specifics. thanks to some tips from you guys my search is going much easier.
i noticed that too....you can really control how much your shocks compress by how hard you bounce over it. it wasn't really a scientific test, i guess.
for the same reason I want everything else...because I can!
no but seriously I could see getting out in the woods down some service road and having to get over small logs or something, i don't think that's unrealistic. I guess it's not a big deal, but if I did get in a situation where i had to drive over a small obstacle, I would hate to think that my truck wouldn't be able to handle it...

It was just sarcasm, some curbs are bigger than telephone poles. My F-150 is just a 2wd and the last place I hunted had a pine tree layin across the road that I drove over every time I went with no problems.

By the sounds of that, you're looking for My Truck!

yep that's it! nice truck, i'm jealous. i'd ask you if it's for sale but I wouldn't want to drive it from newfoundland to Florida anyway. btw, i'm from nova scotia originally.
i've debated it and i'm kinda leaning towards the front bench seat instead of captains chairs. it would be nice to be able to cram an extra person in if i have to.
