Default Question about front disc's

Last week when I placed my leveling kit on, I noticed that my brake disc was the whole hub assembly. Not just the disc part that comes off the lug nut part. On youtube and when I do searches, it shows just the disc. But I have to remove the wheel bearing cap and bearings to remove my whole disc. Do I have the "heritage" brakes? Or are the 04's all like this?

Well what year is your truck and is it a heratige or not? Does is look like the 97-03s or the 04-08s? Heratiges usually have heratige badging also, unless they've been removed.

It's because your a 2wd. They use spindles. The 4wd have the separate brake rotors. There is a company that makes conversion kits to use 4wd separate rotors on a 2wd truck
