If i installed one on my truck would or could it void the warranty? Can ford tell if you have installed a chip or programmer?

You can flash the track back to stock. A programmer will store the stock file. But if you go and blow up your engine they are going to do some research, and yes they will be able to tell and your warranty will be void. I highly doubt if your going in for a recall on your power window controls they are going to take time to extensively search to see if you did anything to your computer. Guy at Ford told me as long as you can return it back to stock you should be fine. But my cousin blew up his truck and they noticed he had modified the computer and told him no warranty. If you have multiple mods to your truck, its not running the correct air/fuel ratio which is harmful to your engine, and you need a different tune to fix it.
