Default Question about 17" rims.

I have a 2005 f150 lariat super-crew. The stock rim size is 18 inches, if I purchase 17inch rims, will they fit around my disc brakes?

They are the new 2012 17 inch rims.

I didnt know if they needed to be 18" to clear the brake assembly.

Thanks in advance, I did a quick search and didnt see what i was looking for.

Yeah they will fit, 17's are the smallest size that you can put on our trucks!!

I believe you but before I buy the rims, I really want some documentation...

I went out and looked and the brakes already look close with 18 inches.

Thanks for the picture man!

Does the lariat have different or bigger brakes than the STX? Or were all the 05s similar in the disk brakes department?

Thanks for the reassurance. I'll go ahead and get the 17's then.
