Default Question on the 4.6L

wut is the difference in the 4.6L in the new mustang and the 4.6L in the new f-150. do the parts interchange or do you have to get different parts.

the 05-08 GT is a 3V engine, the 04-08 F150 4.6L is a 2V engine. They both have radically different intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds. Could the parts interchange? no, not really. The trucks manifold is designed for low end torque, its cylinder heads are of a homogeneous design and are the same among all other Ford 2V modular applications (Performance Improved).
