I didn't know there was 5.4s with PVC in them

Now as far as PCV goes, these guys are all correct. The 04 to most 06 models have them built into the valve cover and are supposed to be service-free (which I don't like.) The late model 5.4 3V in most of the 2007-2008 trucks IS replaceable. I watched a video of a guy easily popping one out and popping a new one in.

According to video it's an 06. Not 07-08 per your statement. LOL.
