17" or 18" makes a difference, and you have 20's with 35's...
I'm with ATOM on this... you'd be asking for trouble
What is it anyway 30' or 36'. The boat in the pic looks like a 36'.
Says they rent 3/4 and 1-tons

thank you all for looking this info for me, it is much appreciated!
Why not just have a private tow company to do the long pull. Look into seeing if you can find one dead-heading your way which then you can work down the price. Then when you get to your destination just use the truck as is to get it to the lake. As others may agree, the truck should handle the short distance to the lake even if the load you have should be pulled with a bigger truck. Heat build up and torque/load shock is going to be your greatest enemy.
yea i wouldnt sell the truck if you like it, find a bud with a f350 dually with a diesel, ha if your where closer to me i would lend a hand ive got acess to two of them, got to love havin a grandpa with a farm ha
Why don't you just find a nice early 2000's F350 and use it just to tow the boat...can find them for cheap, like under 10 grand...get a V10 and call it good..then keep your F150 for everyday and have the big tow rig strictly for hauling the beast...just an idear
