Puddle Light
Depends on what you're using the puddle light on. Where are you mounting the light? Either way, the best way is to use the dome light wires if it's LED (I assume it is). Just get to the back of your dome light roller and identify the wire that is hot with them on but not off. Then tap.
The wire color you're looking for is Black with a light blue strip.
I just hooked up some LED's under my running boards, I accessed the wire under the rear kick plate on the driver side.
Open door and pull up the kick plate and you will see the wiring harness.

C-money $, this is the LED'S I put under my running boards, they're not to bright and they're not to soft of a light.
