I had a 2005 and I had an iSimple kit that I got for 150. Plugs into the F150 harness without modification. The only thing you have to add is a hole to run the AUX jack to. I used the trim plate near the cig lighter and park assist button. This allows you to keep the OEM head unit, use the OEM AUX button, and keep everything stock looking.

The radio didn't need to have the aux function turned on? I was told some features were turned off and had to have a radio shop unlock it turn them on.

Nope. Plugged it in. Radio did all the work itself.
