Default Projector retrofit?

Im thinking about painting my headlights and while apart, retro fitting tsx projectors. Would anyone else be interested in these if i could offer at a low price?

What would be offered:
Color of your choice. (painted headlight or stock)
Projector in housing fully assembled. And shipped back.

What wouldn't be covered:
Insurance. I would recommend on each shipping.
Bulbs and ballast.
Initial shipping. ( might stock up 1 set)

I take no credit for this picture, but would be something like this with tsx projectors. (they perform well, and you can do a color mod)

Just a feeler for now.

interested to see the total costs and how it comes out. I've retrofitted projectors in a Ducati 748, Honda Prelude, and a Jeep Cherokee......it's not a fun process. Kudos to you for offering your services/help on anybody that wants this done. This is a much better option than going w/out a projector and just getting a "kit". How is the glass/lense on the TSX's? Clear or fogged (been out of the retrofitting for awhile)?

^^X2. Some idea of cost would be good, as I have considered going with a HID kit even though I know getting projectors is the RIGHT way to do it. Would it be necessary to send you our original housings?

Depending on circumstance. Im thinking if you have nice stock headlights laying around sure ill take them. But i may stock up on one pair depending on demand. Working with someone on projectors and quantity. But labor and all i couldnt see any more then 450-550 shipped (est.). More depending the type of projector. I will have updates asap of mine in the works.

Remember you will also have to go to a new style bulb. Which they make adapters for.

I like the idea of having projectors, since I hope to get a HID kit soon. Except that I don't like the look of 99% of the projector headlights I have been able to find. They look ricer, ugly imo. I do not want to lose my highbeams either.

What do you guys think about these?

There are a couple members here that have those on their trucks, one said they are fake projecotrs. It is in one of the headlight threads, sorry i forget which one use the search and you may have to go through a few threads but you'll find it. He did put a little write up about em.

The issue with retro fitting is aiming the beam correctly. I retro fit a set of M3 projectors into my Lincoln LS. It was a fun project but like I said aiming is the issue. If they are not correct it is a huge issue of blinding on coming drivers as well as not lighting the correct path for your vehicle.

good luck with the idea, I hope it works out for you. check out S2000 and Lexus projectors too.

Thanks for the heads up. I found a few of those threads:

Some people say they are not real projectors, idk. FX4 Matt seems to like them
