I ordered I edge evo cs the other day, and I'm not real excited to leave it on the dash. So I was thinking about mounting it inside my center console storage compartment. I figured if I need to see it I can open the lid, otherwise its hidden and out of sight and out of all the thieves minds. So my question is have any of you guys done this, if so do you have any tips, tricks, and /or pictures. Thanks in advance .

 

Yea I was thinking the same thing, I have the older gryphon which dosen't look like much, at least that one and the CS look built in with the dash pod, the CTS sticks out and looks super easy to steal, and looks expensive like a NAV unit or something.

 

One of these forums has a relocation to the ash tray. (fold away) I like the pod location for my Gryphon, but I had to turn the brightness WAYYYY down for driving at night.
