I have a K&N CAI and magnaflow dual exhaust. Should I get a programmer or what because I've heard some things about the wrong fuel:air ratio?

Long as you get a quality tuner, it wont be off. A cheap tuner could do that.

I have the same set up with an edge cts and I love it however with the CAI and tuner it may cause ur truck to run lean which at times becomes an issue for me if I drive it aggressively. Edge is releasing updates to prevent this.

I changed the quote to what you should be thinking first. Now if you want a programmer for its benefits it can safely provide, that should be your angle.
