Hello all!

Just purchased a 2008 f150 limited and I am having a few problems. The dealer gave me a remote that included remote start but it did not work. They stated that it needed new batteries which I purchased but did not make a difference. I went to AutoZone and bought a 4 button remote (no start) and was able to program it. The problem is whenever I use the key fob, the car alarm goes off until I manually unlock the door.

The other issue I am having is the power pedals do not work. I press the buttons but nothing is happening, no grind, no movement. I noticed a single grey cable coming in through the firewall that has been cut. Does anyone know what this wire is and is it related to my issues?

Did you trace each end of that grey cable to see what its used for?
