Default Problems with the engine fan

I have a problem with my engine fan, it sounds like a got a turbine under the hood lol. It always stays on. I got a 2006 ford 150 5.4. if its a simple fix id like to do it myself but if its a hard fix i'll bring it down to get done. Thanks

Are you sure it is not the idler? That is the first thing that I would look for. Also, could be the power steering pump, or A/C clutch bearing, or water pump bearing. You need to isolate the noise before you start spending a bunch of money. A stethoscope might he helpful, or a broomstick held up to your ear.

Could be the fan clutch, although I have 210,000 miles on my 04 and haven't touched one of those things. You need special wrenches to get it apart, I believe they rent them at Autozone or some such. I would still check to make sure that is what it is.
