Default problems with the alarm.... please help

hey guys, my name is Joe and im new in this forums, i just found out today about and i signed up right away. unfortunately, i wasnt expecting to use it right away with a problem. I have a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat with the 5.4 engine, i have an excalibur remote start alarm that came with the truck when i bought it. today, out of nowhere my truck would not start! it wont crank or do anything but it does have power so its not the battery, i know its the alarm because everytime i try to start it the alarm sounds. i disconnected the alarm, and nothing, check the battery and nothing, check the starter and nothing, im desperate im working out of my hometown and theres no body whos willing to help, any help here is greatly appreciated, thanks

It is the starter kill relay of your alarm system that's keeping the truck from starting. You have to find the starter wire under the dash and splice it back together. Drop the lower portion of the dash under your steering wheel. That should give you access to all of your wiring for the alarm system. Look for the inline fuse on the red wire of the alarm and pull it out. Next you need to find the starter wire. I am not sure if the color of the wire so, you will need to find it online. It will be a thick wire and it should be the only wire cut in half. You want to put that wire back together and now your truck should start. Good luck.

The best thing to do is yank all that alarm system completely out. Those aftermarket alarm and remote start systems seem to have a shelf life in the Fords before they stop playing nice.
