It would definitely be out farther. I would take the wheel off and put the wheel 1.5 inches away from where it would normally mount and double check it won't rub still. I had a friend grind his caliper down a little and paint it so it didnt rust to fix the problem

If you only need a little tiny bit of extra clearance I'd grind the caliper a little bit.

Well maybe the 5/16" spacers will work then like I said they are cheap. I actually have them on mine so the tire doesn't rub the spindle. Or if you have some washers put them on there and just to see how much room you need. I'm sure you could find some slimmer calipers but not by much. How do you like those falken tires? I think I'm going to get them when my grapplers are done

Something just doesn't seem right about this. That just seems way to close to the rim. Did they send you threw wrong wheels, or did you accidentally order the wrong ones?

speterson1011 i love the falken tires they was around $1100 and i got the right wheels there 17x9 6x135 with +12 offset another question if i did go with the spacers do i get hub centric or lug centric?

When i bought aftermarket wheels the tire tech said not to go smaller than 18" rims because our trucks have big calipers and they can rub

can anyone help me on the hub centric or lug centric question don't know witch spacer to get in case i go down that road ?
