Default Pro Comp Drive Shaft Spacer Kit

I just installed a Pro Comp 6'' susp lift on my 2007 2wd F-150 King Ranch. Once I put the lift on there is a grinding noise when I let of the gas pedal. What is this grinding noise? I have ordered the spacer kit (I think that is what the problem is?) and it will be in next week. Is it safe to drive my truck while I am waiting for the spacer kit?

can you tell where the noise is coming from?

when i lifted my truck i had a similar issue when i put a 5" block in. i was on a road trip about 150 miles from home when my tranny started leaking. turned out the drive shaft was just barely hanging into the the back of the tranny. after high speeds for so many miles the drive shaft was spinning with just enough vibration to walk the rear main seal out. when all was said and done i needed a new drive shaft built that was long enough to reach.

Thanks...The sound is coming from the middle of the truck. I can see where the drive shaft is sticking out of the transmission about 2 inches. I have 3'' spacers in the back so I hope I will not have to get a new drive shaft. Pro comp said the kit should do the trick. I will def park it for the time being though.
