Hello everyone! Today out of no where my power window stoped working in my 07 f150 lariat. Now when you push the button up or down for any window the lights on the under side of the mirror with come on and off and the light for the heated mirror will come on on the switch.. any thougths on what it could be? Maybe a ground?? checked the grounds right inside the cab at the floor on driver side and everything was tight. Thanks for the help!!

 

Definitely sounds like an electrical problem. Your window switch should only operate the windows if it causes other electrical items to misbehave try to trace those wires back and see if you find damaged insulation or loose ground wire.

 

pinched wiring harness?

 

The master power window switch is notorious for going out. This happen to mine, I replaced the switch and that did the trick.

 

check inside the boot in the drivers side door jam. This happened to mine and the wires were pinched inside.

 

 

These trucks are known for the wires in the door jam failing from the door being open and closed
