ok had the hose replaced to pump after which the steering when stopped is so darn hard to turn it breaks my wrists. under power when moving not a problem. changed out the fluid didn't help. should also say when cold it turns easy. so question is would it be the pump or rack. thx for any input

why did you replace the hose and which hose got replaced and what was the initial problem...

 

I believe it was the supply.had truck in getting front axle replaced and my mechanic had to pull pump out to get to a bolt. he said the hose looked pretty bad,rusted. so I told him to replace
